Essential assumptions

Worker & pay
Statutory costs

Editable planning assumptions using central rules. PF and ESI applicability depends on your establishment — override them if the standard rule does not apply to you.

Advanced costsLeave, PPE, transport, accommodation, and more
Optional employer costs

Actual amounts you spend per worker — these are not statutory percentages.

How the calculation works

From daily wage to true cost.

Every assumption can be edited in the calculator. Use this summary to understand the flow, then read the complete methodology when you need the detail.

1. Normalise the wage

Daily, monthly, or hourly pay becomes a monthly base using your working days and hours.

2. Add employer statutory costs

Employer PF with EDLI and admin charges, employer ESI where the worker is covered, and overtime at the statutory rate.

3. Add provisions

Gratuity accrual and the statutory bonus provision, each subject to its own ceiling and eligibility test.

4. Divide back into a day rate

The result is what one worker truly costs per day, per month, and across the crew.
